Verity
Development Group is composed of a highly specialized team of audio
engineers and audio professionals. We are research & development
consultants in the high-end domestic audio business and the professional
audio business. We also own a company called Verity
Audio Inc. that designs and sells
state-of-the-art loudspeakers worldwide. We've been extensively working
over the last four (4) years on a very innovative and genuine concept
for a high-end high-quality front-end acoustical system that will
revolutionize the industry of tomorrow. It is called the FLEXLINE™
system. This is probably the most versatile and accurate front end
system developed until now. It uses the isophase wavefront technology.
Those who are familiar with the well-known cylindrical wave diffuser
systems will see in the FLEXLINE™ system a major generation
advancement. It offers numerous advantages and astonishing qualities
over the best-known systems. It can create a coherent isophase wavefront
that has a perfect cylindrical dispersion. Put it more simply, it
achieves dramatic improvements in speech intelligibility by
"cutting through" the room reverberation and lowering
considerably the far-field to close-field amplitude deviation.
FLEXLINE™
offers an astonishing accurate and well-controlled directivity. Its main
horizontal dispersion lobe is frequency linear up to 120 degrees. It's
been voiced to achieve an amazing neutrality that gives a sense of lower
listening fatigue even at high power levels. It's a light weight, least
cabinets and quick set up time system that allows substantial savings in
man-hours and in transportation expenses. It includes a vertical angle
adjustment system that always keeps the distance between the cabinet to
a minimum to ensures a very predictable dispersion pattern.
FLEXLINE™
uses no compression drivers and no waveguide. It uses a full
bandwidth high frequency transducer that does not require any
boost equalization at 20kHz . It gives pure, uncompressed and
undistorted high frequencies. Its superior amplitude and transient
response is well shown in the Waterfall
diagrams.
Every
component used have been carefully conceived and configured to
achieve the most accurate and natural vocals you will ever
experience. There are no crossover points within the most critical
and sensitive spectrum of the human ear (300Hz to 3kHz). No more
need for equalization, no phase incoherence and interference.
Every component are high-power efficiency devices (high efficiency
at high power levels) due to their superior patented heat-control
system.
The
versatility of the FLEXLINE™ has been pushed to optimize product
handling to raving limits. The system can both be installed
vertically or horizontally. It can be used as a center-cluster, a
side-fill unit or within your main array system.

Four (4) Flexline
cabinets in an arena of five thousand seats. |
A
stack of eight (8) FLEXLINE™ units is recommended to generate a true
cylindrical wavefront from 100Hz to 20kHz. The size is then 160" x
47" x 19". Each group of four (4) FLEXLINE™ requires one (1)
amplifier rack composed of only three (3) amplifiers. The amplifier rack
weights only 160 lbs. and the FLEXLINE™ unit weights 175 lbs. Each
FLEXLINE™ is composed of two 15" bass transducers, three
5-3/4" mid transducers and two top quality pure line-source high
transducers.
The
minimum recommended system will then be composed of two FLEXLINE™
arrays (2x8) and two BASSLINE systems (16 bass cabinets), five amplifier
racks that give a total of 75 000 watts with no-processing, three active
filters and one multiplexing system. The amplification system weights
only 810 lbs. and is power-factor corrected to 0.99.
The
BASSLINE system is composed of a state-of-the-art 18" driver. It
covers a bandwidth of 28Hz to 65Hz. It is a long-throw high-headroom
high-power efficiency device. It can produce high levels of low
frequency output for long period with very low level of distortion. It
measures only 36"x24"x36" and weights 150 lbs. The
BASSLINE comes with a ground stabilizer system to avoid any
load-modulation.
